Beware of rumor's coming from this dog's mouth.
Today just about everyone in the blogosphere started going nuts over a quick little blip which that BS rumor starter, Phil Rogers (and his dog), whispered today at the Tribune...that the Cubs are trying to make a trade with the Padres to get Heath Bell to close or be a be a setup man or to fetch Twinkies for Jim Hendry.
This rumor originally started back during the Winter Meetings about a month ago.
Can we all just resist the urge to report on every rumor that Phil Rogers' dog whispers in Phil's ear?
(Just so you know, since I ripped on this rumor, you can pretty much bank on this trade happening.)
