Roy Halladay is going to the Phillies. Jim Hendry naps.

He's not going to be a Cub...well not until he's like 45 years old, then maybe he will.

The not fully confirmed rumor of the day is that Roy Halladay is going to the Phillies in a three way deal that sends Cliff Lee to the Mariners.

This is what ESPN has to say.

Again, this is another big name that has been floated around as a possible pickup by the Cubs (though it would be a long shot) that is going off to another team.

One thing is for sure, if the Cubs are better this year, they are going to have a really tough time getting past the Phillies.  That team is loaded and they aren't afraid to shed a couple pieces to try to fill other holes.

You have to applaud their front office.

And would someone please wake up Jim Hendry before spring training starts?
