Paying for the Wrigley Name.

I came across this story on the Tribune website yesterday.

For those of you too lazy to read it, Bill Wrigley Jr., who is chairman of the Wrigley gum/candy/teeth destroying company owns the most expensive residential property in the city of Chicago...a gold coast penthouse that he is trying to sell for $14 million.

Hey, I have an idea...why not use the money that you get when you sell the place to pay for the naming rights at Wrigley Field for the upcoming season?

I bet the Cubs could get a really good center fielder or second baseman with $14 million!

Seriously, the Wrigley Company should be thankful that they got 28 years of naming rights for free!  I think it might be time to start paying up.

More about revenues tomorrow.
