97 Years.

I'm departing from the Cubs coverage for a couple days, I'll be travelling.

My grandmother passed away early on Friday morning.  She was a wonderful lady who would laugh at everything.  I, and the rest of the family and our friends that knew her, will miss her greatly.

She, like all my family was a northsider, and she lived up in Norwood Park which is where my dad grew up.  She stayed in the same house until just a few years ago when she had to go into a nursing home.

Grandma lived 97 years, of which she always put a smile on faces of everyone who saw her.

Rest in peace, Grandma.

97 years and she never saw a Cubs World Series title.  (I had to say it.)

Rest in peace Grandma Blume, we love you so much.
