So this morning Tom Ricketts had a press conference to try to promote the plan to get the state to sell bonds to help pay for a major Wrigley Field renovation.
It appeared that the press conference was, A) not very well attended, and B) a bit of a publicity hit again....
As a result, it appears that just a few hours after the press conference that the Cubs are withdrawing their request for the funds.

Now we are back to where we were just a week ago wondering if the Ricketts family will have the guts and finacial resources to actually do what needs to be done and that is to majorly overhaul the obsolete park.
