CubsInsider, who I believe is Carrie Muskat's secondary Twitter feed, is reporting the Mike Quade and the Cubs have reached an agreement for a two year deal to manage the club, with an option for the 2013 season.

The question now is, does Sandberg stay with the organization as AAA manager or bench coach, or does he try to work his way up with another team?
