Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes is reporting that the Cubs have promoted Starlin Castro to the big league club...and is currently en-route to Cincinnati to meet up with the Cubs.
If this is actually true, I'm kinda dumbfounded by the move unless Castro can play third base.
If Castro is given the chance to play, then he does add some badly needed range (and a strong arm) at shortstop, and if he can get on base, would provide the Cubs with something they are sorely lacking, speed.
