As has been reported the last 2 days, Bobby Howry will be rejoining the Cubs today.
As a result, Justin Berg has been optioned to Iowa.
Yep.
Poor Justin.
He's being replaced by a guy that has been flat out horrible this year.
To make room for Howry on the 40 man roster, the Cubs have finally DFAd David Patton. I can't believe it took the Cubs a year and a half to realize that Patton doesn't belong on anyone's 40 man roster. Unbelievable.
So, enjoy this, Cubs fans. That pile of crap that is the bullpen looks a little different than it did...but it's still a pile of crap.
Hopefully our starters can start pitching a few complete games.
