Hey, wait a minute, these were our good relief pitchers!

Another loss to the Astros today...this is a bad sign.

Yes, we lost 2 out of 3 to a team that I consider the worst team in baseball right now (well, maybe the Orioles are worse).

Marmol blew a save today.

Marshall took the lose, giving up a run in the 10th.

Well, if these two can't close the deal, then we're screwed.

Ryan Dempster was fantastic today...he pitched into the 8th inning and didn't give up a run until after he left the game.

Marmol came in to get a 4 out save...but he surrendered a hit in the 8th which scored a run (charged to Dempster) and then let the game get tied up in the 9th.

Marshall gave up a run in the 10th, and my parents (who bought my tickets for today) went home very, very sad (and very very cold).

Wandy Rodriguez, as predicted, pitched well today.  The only time the Cubs broke through was on a Marlon Byrd base hit in the second inning.

Final score: 3-2 in 10 innings.

There isn't much time to recover from this one...the Cubs start a 4 game series against the Mets in New York tomorrow.

Series preview coming up either later tonight (not likely) or tomorrow morning.
