I don't know about you...but I'm about ready for opening day.

Lots and lots to talk about...so little time...

Dempster pitched fairly well yesterday even though he gave up his first two runs of the spring (serving up a homer to Manny Ramirez yesterday).

The bullpen is still looking shaky right now.

Derrek Lee returned to the lineup yesterday after a minor foot injury.

Aramis is still out with sore tricep.

Angel Guzman will have surgery next week to repair his shoulder.  Don't expect him to be back anytime soon, if ever.

According to MLB.com, the Cubs and Dodgers set a single game Cactus League attendance record yesterday. (And the Cubs, in celebration, lost the game 7-3.)

But in the most important news was the fact the the Arizona State legislature passed a bill that would pave the way to raise $100 million in revenue for spring training facilities in Arizona.

More on this a little later today.

Sorry for the lack of activity here this week...it's been a bit crazy around here.  Come Sunday, things should quiet down a bit.

It's Friday and we are going to get 2 to 4 inches of snow tonight.  BLAH!!!!
