Reed Johnson isn't coming back. So who will be the Cubs' blogger in 2010?

Yesterday it was reported that Reed Johnson is close to coming to terms with the LA Dodgers.  And in case any of you still had hopes that he was going to come back to the Cubs this year even after Xavier Nady was signed, I hate to tell you this, but his fate was sealed long, long ago.

Why?

Last year, Reed Johnson was the team's official blogger.  And he did an ok job in that role up until he got hurt. 

The year before that, Mark DeRosa was the team's blogger.  What happened after that season?  The Cubs and DeRosa parted ways.

This is the beginning of a trend.  Being the team blogger is a curse.  Once you start blogging, your fate is sealed.  You will not be coming back in a Cubs uniform next season.

It is unfortunate.  I liked Reed and DeRosa.  They were good clubhouse guys.  They played hard.

So, who should do be Cubs' blogger in 2010?
