I have nothing.
Nothing new on a trade for Curtis Granderson.
Nothing new on the acquisition of another center fielder.
Nothing new on a trade of Milton Bradley.
Nothing.
The only bit of news to report is that the Hall of Fame ballots are out.
This could very well be the year Andre Dawson gets in, but, as Cub fans, we've been disappointed so many times before by HOF voting, I wouldn't get your hopes up too high.
The biggest notable person added to the ballot this year is Roberto Alomar...who should be elected to the Hall at some point, but I would assume he is not going to be elected on his first try. Another two other players that could eventually make it into the Hall as well are Barry Larkin and Edgar Martinez. The vote for Martinez will be interesting because of the fact he spent most of his career as a designated hitter. Can a DH actually make it into the HOF?
As always, stay tuned here for any breaking news.
