I'm back...

Well, I'm back from my difficult weekend.

To summarize everything while I was gone...not much happened.  Rumors about just about everything are running rampant, but nothing has really gotten done.  

John Grabow has filed for free agency.  It does sound like the Cubs are still trying to get him signed.  I think the Cubs should resign him...but it is looking like it is going to cost more than I'd like them to spend. 

And Randy Wells received only one second place vote for rookie of the year.  As good as he was initially, the last month of the season really wiped away any hopes for winning the award.  Chris Coghlan of Florida won. And he deserved the award. Overall, Wells was sixth in the voting.  Former Cub, Casey McGehee came in just ahead of Wells in fifth place.
